- Title - Yazidi Women Under Attack- Part 1
- Project -A score for a UNHCF and Tiger Nest production in which Angelina Jolie meets a Yazidi woman whose family members have been kidnapped by Isis.
- Brief – I tried to create a lilting and emotional piano piece to accompany a tragic tale. Members of family of a woman from the Yazidi tribe get taken away from her by Isis. There are elements of church music here in the chords voicings and sequence, as she prays for the safe return of her family.
- Result - ‘Another very emotive track delivered by James. Whilst never intruding on the tale, he again manages to carry us through the tale with an honest and heartfelt musical backdrop’
