2018 Nansen Award Films

Project Details

  • Title - Nansen Awards 2018- Dr Atar
  • Project - A film about Dr Atar, a Sudanese Surgeon and the 2018 Nansen Award Winner. And a film about the originator of the awards: Fredtjof Nansen.
  • Brief – The films needed to contain a range of emotions and musical styles, from cinematic to world music. The latter Sudanese style cues were another collaboration with Sarathy Korwar.
  • Result - "We were very happy with this collaborative effort which displayed real and necessary versatility in an intense film ." Clementine Malpas.
