Biotherm Homme Advert feat. David Beckham

Title - Biotherm Homme Advert
Project - The lead advert for a new campaign for Biotherm featuring David Beckham.
Brief – The brief was inspired by Antonio Sanchez amazing score for the film Birdman. The client wanted the same louche, classic feel that freeform jazz drums would ad to a black&white ad of this type. The challenge for us was to work out a way in which the feel would remain loose and free whilst still hitting the cut points in the advert. I worked with Ninja Tune drummer Sarathy Korwar to find a way to do this.
Result - ‘’We were only given a few days to provide a score, which meant that James and Sarathy had to work very fast to produce the result we were looking for. They were very creative and professional with this tight and, on the face of it, contradictory brief. The result was just as we had hoped " Jono Stevens, Director, Just So Films.
